Suspicious shooting death not believed to be random

Halifax Regional Police do not believe a fatal shooting in Dartmouth over the weekend was random.

Officers were called to Lahey Road, near Albro Lake Road, at around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, where they found a man with gunshot wounds outside a residence.

The 36-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is being conducted Monday and police will release more information when it’s available.

Anyone with information or video from the area who hasn’t already talked to police is asked to call 902-490-5020.
