The price of gas and diesel oil will change at midnight as the Nova Scotia Energy Board invokes its interrupter clause.

The NSEB said the change is nececcary due to significant shifts in the market price.

It did not indicate whether or not prices would go up or down.

The current price for self-serve regular is 138.8 while the price for diesel oil is 183.6.

Fuel prices are typically adjusted on Fridays in Nova Scotia.
