Due to a mix of snow and rain that moved in over Nova Scotia overnight, all Halifax Regional Centre for Education schools will delay opening by two hours on Wednesday. This means bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time. Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times, but EXCEL programs are cancelled for the morning only. HRCE says the decision was based on an expected snowfall of 8-10 cm throughout the region and a transition to rain during the morning commute.
