The union that represents firefighters in the city says crews were called to an address on Stuart Harris Drive in the Woodlawn community. They arrived just before 5 p.m. after a report of a fire. Teams on the scene managed to put out the fire on the second floor of the home quickly. The extent of the damage to the residence is unknown at this time. No cause has been determined, and no injuries were reported. This comes as the firefighters’ union notes that teams have responded to several structure blazes in the last several weeks that have rapidly climbed the exterior of the building, reaching the top floor or roofline in minutes. To protect lives and property, fire fighters and fire stations must keep pace with how — and where — our city grows,” it reads. It also noted that fire codes should continue to be a priority. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post «كُفّن ودُفن مؤقتاً في نفق»… مصدران يؤكدان لـ«الشرق الأوسط» اغتيال محمد السنوار next post Speed limits reduced in Timberlea part of HRM road safety effort You may also like Electric buses hit Halifax streets as Ragged Lake... 22 مايو، 2025 Chignecto Isthmus case waste of Nova Scotia Court... 22 مايو، 2025 Fishing hooks, pipe used in Eastern Passage assault:... 22 مايو، 2025 Court ruling saves century-old Halifax heritage home from... 22 مايو، 2025 Daughter of historical hit-and-run victim speaks out in...
