DNRR spokesperson Erin Lynch said a section of Shearwater Flyer Trail was closed from Bisset Road to Caldwell Road as staff investigated an unconfirmed report of a bear attack in that area. A portion of the Shearwater Flyer Trail is closed after a possible bear attack. (Google Maps Screenshot) “Out of an abundance of caution, staff will be setting some live traps,” Lynch said in an emailed statement. “Any bears caught will be checked for evidence.
