أعلن اليوم رئيس حكومة مقاطعة كيبيك فرانسوا لوغو عن إغلاق كافة المدارس والمعاهد، ومن ضمنها معاهد الـ”سيجيب” (cégep) للدراسة ما بعد الثانوية، والجامعات ودور الحضانة ابتداءً من يوم الاثنين المقبل ولمدة أسبوعيْن في إطار الإجراءات لمواجهة جائحة “كوفيد 19”.
وبالتالي تعيد هذه المؤسسات فتح أبوابها يوم الاثنين 30 آذار (مارس) الجاري إذا كان الوضع الصحي العام يسمح بذلك.
وأعلن رئيس حكومة حزب التحالف من أجل مستقبل كيبيك (“كاك” – CAQ) عن هذه الإجراءات في مؤتمر صحفي عقده اليوم في كيبيك العاصمة برفقة وزيرة الصحة دانييل ماكان ومدير الصحة العامة في مقاطعة كيبيك هوراسيو أرّودا.
وأوضح لوغو أنّ كافة دور الحضانة مشمولة بقرار الإغلاق، بما فيها تلك العاملة في محيط عائلي.
وقال لوغو إنه يدرك أنّ قراره سيتسبب بصعوبات كبيرة للعائلات التي لديها أطفال، لكنه أضاف أنّ على حكومته تحمّل المسؤولية والعمل من أجل “التحقق أنّ لدينا أقل عدد ممكن من حالات الإصابة” بالفيروس.
وطلب لوغو من أرباب الأعمال أن يكونوا متعاونين في هذا المجال، وقال إنّ حكومته ستعلن عن إجراءات جديدة في الأيام المقبلة “من أجل توفير مساعدة مالية للشركات كما للأفراد غير القادرين على الذهاب إلى العمل”.
وقال لوغو إنّ حكومته تنوي إنشاء نظام حضانة للأطفال الذين يعمل أولياؤهم في قطاع الصحة أو في أجهزة الشرطة أو في أي جهاز يُعتبَر أساسياً في الظروف الراهنة.
وسُجّلت لغاية اليوم 17 حالة إصابة مؤكَّدة بفيروس كورونا المستجد في كيبيك، ثانية كبريات المقاطعات العشر من حيث عدد السكان، من أصل 181 حالة مؤكَّدة في كلّ كندا.
إحدى مدارس مقاطعة كيبيك (Ivanoh Demers : Radio-Canada)
وطمأن لوغو المواطنين على توفر الأغذية واستبعد حدوث أي نقص في هذا المجال.
ويُشار في هذا الصدد إلى أنّ متاجر المواد الغذائية تشهد زحمة غير مسبوقة بسبب توافد المستهلكين عليها بأعداد كبيرة جداً وشرائهم كميات كبيرة من الأغذية من أجل تخزينها تحسباً لأسوأ الأحوال.
ومن جهتها طلبت وزيرة الصحة دانييل ماكان من السكان الراغبين بطرح أسئلة متصلة بفيروس كورونا الاتصال على الرقم 1.877.644.4545 بدل طلب الخط الساخن 811 الذي يعاني مشاكل تقنية بسبب الكم الهائل من الاتصالات التي ترده.
يُشار إلى أنّ معظم المدارس العامة والخاصة، وبعض الجامعات أيضاً، في مقاطعة كيبيك أغلقت أبوابها اليوم بموجب قرارات اتخذتها أمس، لاسيما بعد الظهر وفي المساء، من أجل مواجهة جائحة “كوفيد 19” وبانتظار ما ستعلن عنه حكومة المقاطعة اليوم في هذا المجال.
وكانت حكومة مقاطعة أونتاريو قد أعلنت أمس تمديد عطلة منتصف السنة الدراسية في كافة المدارس المموّلة من الدولة مدّة أسبوعيْن لغاية 5 نيسان (أبريل) في إجراء لمواجهة الجائحة.
