Halifax Regional Municipality is extending Woodside Ferry service for the rest of the World Juniors.
Canada will play the United States in a semi-final game at the Scotiabank Centre Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
The gold medal game also starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Usually the last ferry to Woodside leaves Halifax just before 9 p.m. on weekdays.
But according to a social media post by HRM, ferries heading to Woodside will depart Halifax every 30 minutes from 9:07 p.m. to 11:07 p.m. on January 4th and 5th.
The Alderney Ferry runs later and more frequently than the Woodside Ferry, with the service every 15 minutes on weekdays. The final ferry of the night is scheduled to leave Halifax for Alderney Landing at 11:45 p.m.
