According to the firefighters’ union, teams arrived at 11:53 p.m. at a 20-storey building on Brunswick Street in Halifax. Crews from Station 3 were the first on scene and found smoke in the lobby. Officials said that multiple alarm zones were activated across the structure, prompting a second alarm to be called, requesting more resources. People were evacuated from the building, and crews set to work. After combing through the high-rise, officials found the blaze in the laundry room and were able to extinguish it quickly. Smoke has already spread to several floors, meaning teams had to use high-powered fans to waft it out of the building before people returned back. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Nova Scotia marks 33 years since Westray Mine disaster next post Infant suffers serious injuries after two-vehicle collision in East Hants You may also like World Cup trophy tour comes to Halifax 23 مايو، 2026 Halifax police warn public to watch their drinks... 2026 Alderney service back to reduced schedule three days... 22 مايو، 2026 Gas prices to change again as interrupter is... 22 مايو، 2026 First-degree murder charge laid in case of missing... 22 مايو، 2026 N.S. resort is the latest using high-tech blankets... 22 مايو، 2026 Drugs and weapons seized at a home in... 22 مايو، 2026
