Halifax Regional Police were called to the Circle K near Kearney Lake Road at around 10:40 p.m. Friday. They say when staff approached a woman who had been stealing merchandise, they were threatened with a weapon. A suspect was arrested the next day at a nearby hotel. Samantha Jeanne Forbes, 31, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of robbery and breach of probation.
