The first happened at 10 p.m. Police say a man walked into Bishop’s Cellar on Lower Water St. and indicated he had a firearm, although no weapon was seen. No one was hurt and the man ended up leaving the store empty-handed. The man was arrested nearby. According to HRP, 46-year-old Wayne Nettleton is expected to appear in court on Friday on robbery charges. A couple of hours later police say a man entered the Needs Convenience at 33 Herring Cove Rd., pulling out a firearm and demanding money. The man managed to get some cash and made off on foot with no injuries reported.
