Officers were called to Lacewood Drive near Dunbrack at around 1:20 a.m. They were told a passenger assaulted the driver and took cash before getting out of the cab. Police tracked down a suspect, who was in another taxi leaving the area. When officers pulled the vehicle over, they say he jumped out and tried to get away. He didn’t get far and was soon arrested.
