Environment Canada issued a special weather statement before a storm that is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the region late Wednesday and Thursday. In the statement, issued for the entirety of Nova Scotia and most of New Brunswick, the national forecaster says the region could see rainfall amounts in the 30-50 mm range, with the potential of more in southern areas of Nova Scotia. The statement also warned of the potential of strong winds during the same period, with gusts between 70 and 90 km/h possible. Much like this past weekend, Environment Canada says with the ground still frozen in many areas, its ability to absorb rain is diminished, which could lead to localized flooding in some areas. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Workers at Autoport on strike next post أبرز الاغتيالات التي طاولت معارضين وصحافيين في روسيا You may also like نائب محافظ يتنحى جانباً للسماح لبواليافر بالترشح لمقعد... 3 مايو، 2025 كارني يلتقي ترامب الثلاثاء والملك تشارلز يلقي خطاب... 3 مايو، 2025 Two children, 6 and 4, missing in Pictou... 3 مايو، 2025 N.S. makes increased illegal burning fine permanent 3 مايو، 2025 Large search underway for young kayaker in Nova... 3 مايو، 2025 Prime Minister Carney to meet with U.S.
