It seems winter isn’t done with Nova Scotia just yet.

Tuesday’s forecast for Halifax is calling for up to 5cm of snow mixed with ice pellets throughout the day, with another two to 4cm expected tonight, creating messy driving conditions for commuters.

95.7’s weather specialist, Allister Aalders, says snowfall amounts that actually accumulate on the ground are tricky to predict and will vary depending on the surface they fall on.Environment Canada says winds will pick up throughout the day, with gusts of up to 50 km/h expected for much of the day.
Wednesday will begin with flurries before they taper off as temperatures rise above 0 C.
