Mounties say their Community Action Response Team received information last month that a man was trafficking drugs and targeting unhoused people in Lower Sackville. According to police, the man was selling drugs in exchange for cash or bartered items, such as gift cards, from a camper he had parked on public property on Cobequid Rd. The 56-year-old Lower Sackville man was safely arrested Friday morning as he was driving back to the camper in a Ford pickup truck. During a search of the vehicles, police say they found and seized items such as cocaine, pills, a conducted energy weapon, a crossbow, replica firearms, ammunition, sensory irritant, cash, gift cards and unstamped tobacco.
