Police ask for help finding assault suspect

Regional police has released the photo of a man alleged to have been involved in an assault and attempted robbery last month.

HRP said on Dec. 22 at about 8 a.m., a homeowner on Harvard St. found someone they didn’t know in their vehicle. When the homeowner confronted the suspect, police alleged the suspect struck them with a hammer, made threats and tried to steal the vehicle. The suspect ended up taking off on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man standing about 5’5″. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, jeans and a fabric face mask.
