The national forecaster says the area can expect to see 25 to 50 mm of rain through Wednesday evening, and says the frozen ground will struggle to absorb the water, so water is likely to pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Environment Canada called for rain in the Halifax area to continue into Wednesday evening, easing to showers overnight. The warning, which is at the “yellow” colour-code level, is also in effect for Lunenburg County, Kings County, Hants County, and Colchester County – Truro and south, and Colchester County – Cobequid Bay. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Ubisoft closing Halifax studio days after workers voted to unionize next post RCMP release dog breeds involved in fatal child attack You may also like Diesel prices to shift again in Nova Scotia... 6 March، 2026 Halifax Water investigating ‘privacy incident’ on its online... 6 March، 2026 Halifax teens lament the loss of government program... 6 March، 2026 Spring Garden area businesses call out paid parking... 6 March، 2026 ‘A terrible idea’: Halifax to raise parking fees,... 6 March، 2026
