Public Health Mobile Units will be stopping at four more HRM locations

More drop-in COVID-19 testing is being offered in our area

The Public Health Mobile Units will be offering more drop-in COVID-19 testing in our area.

They’ll be stopping at the following locations:

  • DeWolf Park, 150 Waterfront Dr., Bedford*

Saturday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park, 2249 Cow Bay Rd., Cow Bay*

Saturday, Aug. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Fishermen’s Cove, 4 Government Wharf Rd., Eastern Passage*

Sunday, Aug. 29 from noon to 5 p.m.

  • Tantallon Public Library, 3646 Hammonds Plains Rd, Upper Tantallon

Monday, Aug. 30 from noon to 5 p.m.

*Outdoor Public Health Mobile Unit testing locations are weather dependent.

Testing is free and available to all ages and all visitors.

Important notes when visiting the mobile unit:

  • Unless you have symptoms you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your results, unless directly advised by Public Health to isolate.
  • The testing method is standard PCR swab or Swish and Gargle for children and youth. Preparation is required for gargle testing. View instructions.
  • Please bring your health card with you, if you have one.
  • When testing is offered outside, please dress accordingly.
