CANADAHALIFAX news Province now requires criminal record checks, training for late-night bar security staff by admin 13 مايو، 2023 written by admin 13 مايو، 2023 132 By CityNews Halifax Staff Bouncers at late night bars in Nova Scotia will now be required to have criminal record checks and security training, going forward. This comes as part of a provincial announcement which says bar security staff will need to take an approved security training course by July 1 in order to work at cabarets. They will also need to provide a criminal record check on request and complete a responsible beverage service training program. “Bouncers are there for one reason: to help keep people safe. This new training will give them the tools to better understand how to do that,” said Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services Minister Colton LeBlanc. The province says it plans on developing a training program but in the meantime, staff will need to complete the Alberta ProTect Security Training Program, offered online. Any caberet that violates these new licencing requirements could have their liquir license suspended, as a result. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant next post تقنية جديدة “للشم” في الواقع الافتراضي… هل يستعيد فاقدو الذاكرة ذكرياتهم؟ You may also like CITYnews halifax: Canadian Baseball League pitching Nova Scotia... 7 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Coast guard rescues sailor off Newfoundland... 7 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : 33-year-old pedestrian killed in New... 2026 CITYnews halifax: Stop work order issued after Fairview... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Halifax urging good ‘etiquette’ ahead... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Child behind emergency alert found... 5 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Union lifts strike action at... 5 يونيو، 2026
