It’s part of a pilot program called Test to Protect Kids. The kits include four nose swab rapid tests along with instructions on how to use them. They can be used by anyone aged 3 and up with mild COVID-19 symptoms. Because rapid tests are not considered to be as accurate as PCR tests, if the results are negative, another test needs to be done 48 hours later. If it’s positive, a PCR test needs to be booked to confirm the results. Over 1,000 volunteers have put together 80,000 rapid test kits for the program. Parents and guardians of kids in pre-primary to Grade 6 will get more information next week. 4 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Beth MacLean, who won human rights case for people with disabilities, dies at age 50 next post N.S. projects smaller 2021-22 budget deficit, even with $80M in new spending You may also like Diesel prices to shift again in Nova Scotia... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax Water investigating ‘privacy incident’ on its online... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax teens lament the loss of government program... 6 مارس، 2026 Spring Garden area businesses call out paid parking... 6 مارس، 2026 Five men face obstruction charges related to Dartmouth... 2026 ‘A terrible idea’: Halifax to raise parking fees,... 6 مارس، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
