Halifax Regional Police say officers were called to the 100 Highfield Park Drive store just before 1 a.m. on Saturday. According to HRP, a man took cigarettes and money from behind the counter while a woman held a gun. The man and woman were last seen running toward a nearby bus terminal. The store’s employee was unharmed. The male suspect is described as white, approximately 6 foot in height, with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweater, a black puffy vest, brown Nike shoes, and carrying a black back pack with Canada written across the front. The female suspect is described as being white, approximately 5’2″ in height, medium build, wearing a black hoodie with a green coloured logo on the front, black pants, black shoes, and wearing large black sunglasses. Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 902-490-5016.
