Police search for suspects in weekend robbery of convenience store in Dartmouth

A Needs convenience store in Dartmouth was the target of a weekend robbery.

Halifax Regional Police say officers were called to the 100 Highfield Park Drive store just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.

According to HRP, a man took cigarettes and money from behind the counter while a woman held a gun.

The man and woman were last seen running toward a nearby bus terminal.

The store’s employee was unharmed.

The male suspect is described as white, approximately 6 foot in height, with a medium build.

He was wearing a black sweater, a black puffy vest, brown Nike shoes, and carrying a black back pack with Canada written across the front.

The female suspect is described as being white, approximately 5’2″ in height, medium build, wearing a black hoodie with a green coloured logo on the front, black pants, black shoes, and wearing large black sunglasses.
