The incident, police say, happened around 4:30 a.m. on Jul. 9 on the waterfront near 1600 Lower Water St. Two security guards were allegedly assaulted by a man after they’d approached him in relation to damaged property in the area. He ran off on foot. The suspect is described as a white man with short blond or brown hair, a mustache and a beard, with tatoos on his forearms and hands. He was wearing a black hoodie and shorts.
