Police look for suspects in armed robbery

RCMP say two men with a knife robbed a Porters Lake gas station Monday morning

RCMP are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery at a Porters Lake gas station Monday morning.

They say just before 5 a.m., two men with a knife got cash, lottery tickets and tobacco from a convenience store at a gas station at Hwy. 7 and the Hwy. 107 access road.

The employee wasn’t hurt.

Both men are described as white.

One was wearing a  brown jacket, a black toque and winter gloves. The second was wearing a black hoodie, winter gloves and had a red bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
