Police look for suspect involved in assault at Parklane Mall

Regional police are looking for a suspect in connection to an assault at Parklane Mall last month.

On April 3, at roughly 5:40 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault where two men had been skateboarding inside the mall and harrassing a woman.

Police say a security officer attempted to get the men to leave but was then attacked by one of the men who knocked him to the ground and continued striking him until a bystander intervened.

The suspect is described as white, 19-20 years old, approximately 5’10, clean shaven, blond hair, wearing a tan hoodie and carrying a skateboard.
