Police look for owners of cash found on waterfront

If you lost some cash in downtown Halifax last week, Halifax Regional Police might just have it.

On July 3, HRP responded to a report of money that had been turned over to police headquarters. On July 7, police responded to a report of money that had been found on the Halifax waterfront on July 6.

“To claim the money, you must be able to provide details in relation the amount and denominations and any other information useful in determining ownership,” police said in a media release.

Anyone with information is asked to call Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5016.
