Police investigate suspicious circumstances

Halifax Regional Police are investigating suspicious circumstances that happened over the weekend.

At around 8 p.m. Saturday, four youths were walking on a pathway near in the area of Kearney Lake near Larry Uteck Boulevard.

Police say a man they didn’t know offered to show them his truck.

The teens told officers, when they turned around and ran, the man followed them until they reached Larry Uteck Boulevard,

The man then turned and walked back along the pathway.

He’s described as white, in his 30s, around 5’10” and 190 pounds with a dark buzz cut and facial stubble. He had been wearing a red and black hoodie and jeans while carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
