RCMP say an officer pulled the 19-year-old man over late Monday after radar registered his vehicle’s speed at 167 km/h in a 100 km/h zone of Highway 101. He was handed a $2,422.50 and his licence was suspended for a week. In addition, the vehicle was seized, so he and his passenger had to arrange another ride to their destination. “Driving at high rates of speed can have life-altering affects in a split second,” said Mounties in a news release. “Reduce serious injuries and fatal collisions by respecting speed limits.” 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Police investigate suspicious circumstances next post RCMP officer, communications official stand by political-interference allegation You may also like CITYnews halifax: New technology that unifies harbour activity... 27 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Additional charge added for N.S.... 27 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Shelburne man dead after crash on... 27 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Most Nova Scotians not satisfied... 27 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Earlier engagement could be key to... 2026 RCI: What we know about the suspect in... 26 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Canada can now enter Eurovision, but CBC... 26 يونيو، 2026
