Regional police are investigating an early-morning robbery in Dartmouth.

According to police, just before 5 a.m. Thursday a man walked into the Needs convenience store on Prince Albert Rd., and threatened a staff member with what was believed to be a fiream before taking off with some cash.

The employee wasn’t physically injured, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late teens or early 20’s. He’s about 5’6″ with long brown hair and sideburns.

At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, a black hoodie with purple lettering, a teal t-shirt, black acid washed ripped jeans, white Nike shoes with black laces and a red Nike emblem and was carrying a black duffle bag with graphics.

Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
