One arrested, two sought after military equipment stolen in break-and-enter

One person has been arrested and the search is on for two others after a break-and-enter in Halifax last week that saw military equipment stolen.

According to Halifax Regional Police, it happened on Friday at about 3:45 a.m. The suspects got into a parking garage on Roberts St. in Halifax, and broke into tenants’ storage lockers.

A military-style tactical vest with ballistic plates was among the items taken.

One of the suspects was arrested nearby. The search continues for a white woman, described as 5’4″ and 120 lbs, and a white man, about 5’8″ and 150 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
