In a statement Friday morning, the Atlantic Academic Union said it has provided 48-hour strike notice and will be in a legal strike position as of Monday. “The action comes following an unproductive negotiation meeting with the Atlantic Academic Union negotiation team, NSCC and the provincial conciliators on March 14,” the statement read. The union said the strike action involving 1,081 members would stretch from Sydney to Yarmouth. “The College remains focused on reaching collective agreements on behalf of Faculty and Professional Support colleagues that strengthen the working and learning environment,” said a statement on the NSCC website. The AAU said negotiations have been ongoing since Aug. 2023. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post ترودو يرفض طلب لوغو بنقل كل صلاحيات الهجرة إلى كيبيك next post Emera Oval set to close for winter on Monday You may also like Diesel prices to shift again in Nova Scotia... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax Water investigating ‘privacy incident’ on its online... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax teens lament the loss of government program... 6 مارس، 2026 Spring Garden area businesses call out paid parking... 6 مارس، 2026 Five men face obstruction charges related to Dartmouth... 2026 ‘A terrible idea’: Halifax to raise parking fees,... 6 مارس، 2026
