The province’s police watchdog released a report yesterday, noting that the investigation against the officer stemmed from a complaint filed in April. At that time, Truro Police Service had received a report of an RCMP officer who had allegedly committed the acts while off duty on February 28, 2023. SiRT says their investigation involved collection and analysis of evidence as well as interviews but determined that no charges are warranted against the officer. SiRT is responsible for investigating all matters that involve death, serious injury, sexual assault and domestic violence or other matters of significant public interest that may have arisen from the actions of any police officer in Nova Scotia. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Huge donation will help Nova Scotia Talent Trust support more artists next post City Staff recommend more designated tenting sites in HRM You may also like 2025 No tsunami threat after 5.1 magnitude earthquake near... 22 فبراير، 2025 Premiers Ford and Houston appeal to governors in... 22 فبراير، 2025 RCMP seized loaded handgun in Halifax; many charges... 22 فبراير، 2025 Police looking for driver involved in hit-and-run in... 22 فبراير، 2025 ‘Control-mania’: Nova Scotia premier accused of executive overreach... 22 فبراير، 2025 Four men charged in months-long home repair scam 20 فبراير، 2025
