CANADAHALIFAX news Nova Scotia’s police watchdog clears officer of sexual assault allegations by admin 18 أكتوبر، 2023 written by admin 18 أكتوبر، 2023 69 By CityNews Halifax Staf Nova Scotia’s Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) has cleared a Mountie regarding allegations of committing an indecent act and sexual assault. The province’s police watchdog released a report yesterday, noting that the investigation against the officer stemmed from a complaint filed in April. At that time, Truro Police Service had received a report of an RCMP officer who had allegedly committed the acts while off duty on February 28, 2023. SiRT says their investigation involved collection and analysis of evidence as well as interviews but determined that no charges are warranted against the officer. SiRT is responsible for investigating all matters that involve death, serious injury, sexual assault and domestic violence or other matters of significant public interest that may have arisen from the actions of any police officer in Nova Scotia. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Huge donation will help Nova Scotia Talent Trust support more artists next post City Staff recommend more designated tenting sites in HRM You may also like N.S.
