The provincial health department says the new, 1.5 Tesla MRI is operational as of Monday. “This significant advancement reaffirms our commitment to enhancing diagnostic imaging and elevating patient care across Nova Scotia,” Michelle Thompson, Minister of Health and Wellness, said. “With two cutting-edge MRI units, the new suite will help reduce wait times and provide Nova Scotians with faster access to advanced imaging. This means quicker, more accurate diagnoses, which are essential for timely and effective treatment.” The department says the new machine provides clearer, more detailed images than previous iterations. A second, 3 Tesla MRI is expected to be operational in October. The new machines are expected to increase the number of patients that can be seen every day, the province wrote. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Halifax library workers accept deal to end strike; branches to re-open next post Liberals announce expansion to mortgage eligibility, draft rights for renters, buyers You may also like World Cup trophy tour comes to Halifax 23 مايو، 2026 Halifax police warn public to watch their drinks... 2026 Alderney service back to reduced schedule three days... 22 مايو، 2026 Gas prices to change again as interrupter is... 22 مايو، 2026 First-degree murder charge laid in case of missing... 22 مايو، 2026 N.S. resort is the latest using high-tech blankets... 22 مايو، 2026 Drugs and weapons seized at a home in... 22 مايو، 2026
