The provincial health department says the new, 1.5 Tesla MRI is operational as of Monday. “This significant advancement reaffirms our commitment to enhancing diagnostic imaging and elevating patient care across Nova Scotia,” Michelle Thompson, Minister of Health and Wellness, said. “With two cutting-edge MRI units, the new suite will help reduce wait times and provide Nova Scotians with faster access to advanced imaging. This means quicker, more accurate diagnoses, which are essential for timely and effective treatment.” The department says the new machine provides clearer, more detailed images than previous iterations. A second, 3 Tesla MRI is expected to be operational in October. The new machines are expected to increase the number of patients that can be seen every day, the province wrote. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Halifax library workers accept deal to end strike; branches to re-open next post Liberals announce expansion to mortgage eligibility, draft rights for renters, buyers You may also like كندا تستضيف قمة مجموعة السبع في يونيو/حزيران 2025 3 يناير، 2025 اعتقال مراهق من تورونتو حاول الالتحاق بِتنظيم ’’داعش‘‘ 3 يناير، 2025 Gas price rise across Nova Scotia to start... 3 يناير، 2025 North Atlantic right whales should live past 100... 3 يناير، 2025 Weekend weather brings a mixed bag of flurries... 3 يناير، 2025 Canada primed for more severe wildfire days, driven... 3 يناير، 2025 ’’عدم اليقين الاقتصادي‘‘ سيميّز عام 2025، حسب أحد... 2 يناير، 2025 أهمّ الأحداث السياسية المُنتظَرة في كندا في 2025 2 يناير، 2025 NYE murders in North End deemed to stem... 2 يناير، 2025 Nova Scotia wildlife centre waiting on good weather... 2 يناير، 2025
