N.S. RCMP investigates suspicious death in Bible Hill

Police near Truro are investigating after a woman was found dead during a wellness check on Friday.

The RCMP says officers went to a home on Bomber Drive in Bible Hill on Jan. 3, where they found a 42-year-old woman dead and an unconscious man who was taken to hospital.

Police have not offered any further details on the circumstances surrounding the death, only referring to the incident as a “suspicious sudden death.”

The Mounties also say there is no evidence to suggest any risk to the public.

The Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit is investigating the case, with support from the RCMP, Truro Police Service and the medical examiner.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
