On June 4, the province estimated as many as 100,000 Nova Scotians had their personal information stolen in the breach of the file transfer software called MOVEit. Tricia Ralph announced today she will launch a probe that will aim to review the adequacy of the government’s, Nova Scotia Health’s and IWK Health’s security and information practices as well as how they responded to the breach under the province’s various privacy acts. Few details were given since the investigation is considered active, according to a press release. To this point, Ralph’s office has heard 110 privacy complaints from individuals who were notified that they were impacted by the MOVEit hack. Those complaints will inform the comprehensive investigation and be addressed in the document once it is published and put online. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post CBC head Catherine Tait summoned to committee over job cuts, executive bonuses next post Halifax police charge man with drug trafficking You may also like Alderney service back to reduced schedule three days... 22 مايو، 2026 Gas prices to change again as interrupter is... 22 مايو، 2026 First-degree murder charge laid in case of missing... 22 مايو، 2026 N.S. resort is the latest using high-tech blankets... 22 مايو، 2026 Drugs and weapons seized at a home in... 22 مايو، 2026 Carney says Alberta plays ’essential’ role in building... 22 مايو، 2026 Pentagon doubles down on Canada rebuke with demand... 22 مايو، 2026 Some FIFA World Cup fans ’flabbergasted’ by ticket... 22 مايو، 2026 Alberta to hold fall referendum on whether to... 22 مايو، 2026 Référendum : Mark Carney appelle les Albertains à... 22 مايو، 2026
