CANADAHALIFAX news N.S. health care administrators protest again for higher wages by admin 12 أكتوبر، 2023 written by admin 12 أكتوبر، 2023 190 By CityNews Halifax Staff Health care administration staff are expected to protest outside of hospitals in Nova Scotia for a second time today. On Sept. 25, thousands of health administrative professionals and supporters gathered outside the Dickson Building at the QEII Health Sciences on University Avenue, Dartmouth General Hospital and nine other hospitals around the province. According to the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU), the so-called Day of Action lunch hour protest will draw attention to the workers’ nearly three-year old expired contract. Job action for administrators cannot be taken without an Essential Services Agreement so the protest will shed light on what the NSGEU says are some of the lowest paid workers in the health care sector. The NSGEU website states the protest coincides with a return to the bargaining table today. Other areas where staff will participate in the Day of Action around the province include: Cape Breton, Cape Breton Regional Hospital Truro, Colchester East Hants Health Centre Windsor, Hants Community Hospital Kentville, Valley Regional Hospital Bridgewater, South Shore Regional Hospital Yarmouth, Yarmouth Regional Hospital Antigonish, St. Martha’s Regional Hospital New Glasgow, Aberdeen Hospital Amherst, Cumberland Colchester Hospital 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Military training scheduled to happen in and around Halifax next post Nova Scotia Health bringing back masking requirements starting Oct. 12 You may also like نحوٌ من 200 دبلوماسي كندي سابق يطالبون بعقوبات... 16 مايو، 2026 France rejects plan to send its last two... 16 مايو، 2026 Macdonald Bridge to close Sunday morning for Bluenose... 16 مايو، 2026 Canadian isolating in B.C. tests “presumptive positive” for... 16 مايو، 2026 Canadian wineries say scrapping provincial trade barriers would... 16 مايو، 2026 Kirst’s six-point outing leads Rock past Thunderbirds in... 16 مايو، 2026 Carney, Smith reach energy agreement that could see... 15 مايو، 2026 Why the U.S. is noticing this Canadian security... 15 مايو، 2026 Supreme Court rules intimate partner violence can be... 15 مايو، 2026 Why a song contest has emerged as Europe’s... 15 مايو، 2026
