Police say the extra enforcement comes on National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day, marked on Dec. 7. “At this time of year, we’re gathering with friends and family for holiday get-togethers. And unfortunately, some people still choose to drive impaired,” says Cst. Greg Bowie, South West Traffic Services. “We ask that if you’re heading out to enjoy the season, plan ahead and if you see a suspected impaired driver, call 911.” The Mounties say if you’re going out, you should plan ahead and choose a designated driver, call a cab or take the bus, don’t drink on an empty stomach and pace yourself, and if you’re hosting people ask if they have plans for a safe ride home. Police also ask that if you see someone you believe is driving impaired to call 911. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post First weekend of December sees a drop in pump prices across Nova Scotia next post Prospect Bay man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant You may also like Mexican cartel, Hells Angels associates among 33 arrested... 21 مايو، 2026 Generic Ozempic is now on Canadian shelves.
