Man seriously injured in shooting; police looking for suspect

The victim was taken to hospital after police responded to the call at 8:30 Wednesday evening

0n Wednesday July 6, 2022, at 8:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of gun shots in the 5000 block of Cunard Street. Officers responded to the area and located a male victim with gunshot wounds. Crime scene also located. Emergency Health Services transported male to QE2 Hospital with serious injuries. No suspects in custody at this time.

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Service are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020.
