On Oct. 29, officers found 70-year-old Brian David Johnson injured at a home on Richmond Street. Police said he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service later confirmed his cause of death was a homicide. On Tuesday evening, police arrested 56-year-old Derrick Eugene Munroe at his home. He was scheduled to appear in provincial court on Thursday.
