East Hants District RCMP says they received a call at around 9:06 p.m. about a man with a knife at an apartment complex in Elmsdale, N.S. Mounties say the man fled and tried to carjack multiple vehicles before threatening officers with his weapon. Police say the tasered and arrested Christopher Isaac McDonald, 30, from Sipekne’katik First Nation and charged him with: Three counts of robbery Assault a peace officer Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose Resists a peace officer Three counts of failure to comply with order McDonald appeared before court and was remanded in custody.
