Since its creation in 1944, the trust has awarded over $2.5 million dollars to more than 1,000 gifted Nova Scotians, studying dance, music, theatre, literary, and other art forms. The organization announced it has received a $2.8 million donation from arts patron Judith Grant. Grant, who passed away last year in Halifax, earmarked the funds for Nova Scotians studying music within Atlantic Canada. According to the Nova Scotia Talent Trust, Grant was born in 1926 and grew up in Bedford. She was a concertgoer and donor to many organizations, including Scotia Festival of Music, Symphony Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra and the Maritime Conservatory. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man charged with second-degree murder in Dartmouth stabbing next post Nova Scotia’s police watchdog clears officer of sexual assault allegations You may also like جمعية تحثّ أساتذة الجامعات الكندية على عدم السفر... 17 أبريل، 2025 دونا سكلي تصبح أول امرأة رئيسة للجمعية التشريعية... 17 أبريل، 2025 Leaders target campaign front-runner Mark Carney in French-language... 17 أبريل، 2025 Crown drops second-degree murder charge for teen in... 17 أبريل، 2025 Halifax gets failing grade for fiscal accountability in... 17 أبريل، 2025 Five people charged after stolen alcohol case 17 أبريل، 2025 ‘Significant gaps’ in health care knowledge in addressing... 17 أبريل، 2025 مانيتوبا تحول بعض صادراتها الكهربائية من الولايات المتحدة... 15 أبريل، 2025 بيار بواليافر يتعهّد بطرد مرتكبي الأعمال المعادية للسامية 15 أبريل، 2025 Nova Scotia auditor general credits government on progress... 15 أبريل، 2025
