The municipality has announced it plans to suspend all Halifax Transit service, including buses, ferries and Access-a-Bus, as of 1 p.m. Saturday in advance of an expected freeze. A rainfall warning is in effect for Halifax, calling for heavy rain overnight into Saturday. Temperatures are then forecast to plummet on Saturday afternoon and Environment Canada says roads, sidewalks and other surfaces could quickly freeze. Halifax Transit said it would provide an update by 10 a.m. Saturday if there is any change to the timeline for suspension of services. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Police arrest youths following disturbance at Halifax West High School next post Canada sanctions 10 more people in Russia over war with Ukraine You may also like 2025 Freeland promises to consult Canadians on alternatives to... 22 فبراير، 2025 Liberal party kicks Ruby Dhalla out of leadership... 2025 No tsunami threat after 5.1 magnitude earthquake near... 22 فبراير، 2025 Premiers Ford and Houston appeal to governors in... 22 فبراير، 2025 RCMP seized loaded handgun in Halifax; many charges... 22 فبراير، 2025
