According to HRP, there’s a number of things people can do to keep themselves and their homes safe such as remembering to lock all doors and windows if you’re heading out. Police said it’s a good idea to leave lights or a TV on to make it look like someone is home to deter would be criminals. Some other tips include leaving outside lights or motion sensors, leaving a spare key with a trusted neighbour or loved one, and locking your vehicles. If you’re putting recyclables to the curb, it’s recommended you cut up large boxes from new purchases to make sure you’re not advertising to criminals what new valuables you have in your home. Meantime, HRP is also reminding residents to not drive impaired or ride with someone you suspect may be impaired. If you see suspicious activity, you can contact police or Crime Stoppers. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Fashion 2024: Knitwear, ribbons and other trends for the year ahead next post Eagles defeat Mooseheads 4-2 in final game of 2023 You may also like 2025 Atlantic Canada voters critical for Liberals this federal... 11 أبريل، 2025 Here is the final list of N.S. candidates... 11 أبريل، 2025 Woman, 77, seriously injured after being hit by... 11 أبريل، 2025 Speed limits dropping in Fairview 10 أبريل، 2025 Nova Scotia video game studio looks to make... 10 أبريل، 2025 Canadian men to train in Halifax ahead of... 10 أبريل، 2025 Trump limits tariffs on most nations for 90... 10 أبريل، 2025
