Gas jumps 4.5 cents in Nova Scotia

Gas prices are up in Nova Scotia heading into the weekend.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board made its weekly adjustment at midnight.

Regular self-serve gasoline rose 4.5 cents to 140.3 cents per litre. Diesel increased 1.3 cents to 164.7 cents per litre.

At this time last year, gas was 155.9 cents and diesel was 167.5 cents.
