HRFE Deputy Chief Dave Meldrum told CityNews that crews found a fire inside a chimney when they arrived on scene. Meldrum said firefighters checked inside some of the walls and in the ceiling of the business and determined that it did not spread from the original location. HRFE said the deli sustained minor fire, smoke and water damage, and there were no injuries reported in the incident. The cause is under investigation.
