CITYnews halifax: Police seeking 22-year-old missing person, description published

Halifax Regional Police have requested the help of the public in locating an individual who has been missing in Halifax since Monday afternoon.

Police identify the man as 22-year-old Fardeen Chowdhurry. Fardeen is described as a brown-skinned man who is 6 feet 1 inch tall. He is roughly 200 pounds with an athletic build, black hair, and brown eyes with a stubble beard. He was last seen wearing glasses (that transition to sunglasses), a green sweater, black jeans, and black running shoes.

Chowdhurry left his home in Halifax for work at around 4:00 p.m on July 27. He did not show up to his place of work in Dartmouth, and has still not been located since.

Police have a released a photo of Chowdhurry to aid in the search:

Halifax police say there is no evidence to suggest that Fardeen’s disappearance is connected to foul play; however, his family and local police are concerned for his well-being.
