CANADAHALIFAX news Bargaining for Nova Scotia acute care nurses heading to conciliation by admin 29 يونيو، 2023 written by admin 29 يونيو، 2023 327 CITYnews halifax \ By Mark Hodgins The Nova Scotia Council of Nursing Unions says negotiations with the employer will be going to a conciliator after the two sides failed to reach a new deal. The coalition of four unions say talks ended early on Thursday after a total of 29 face-to-face meetings, according to the unions. “After a lengthy round of negotiations, delayed in part due to COVID 19 and adapting to a new style of interest-based bargaining, the parties representing nurses who work in hospitals, satellite clinics and public health throughout the province’s acute and community care sector came to an impasse,” the council said in a news release. The department of labour will now appoint a conciliator with the hopes of reaching a deal that’s acceptable for both sides. The unions are representing some 10,000 nurses who’ve been without a contract since 2020. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Province establishes Deaths-in-Custody Review Committee next post إيران تقاضي كندا أمام المحكمة الدولية على خلفية الطائرة الأوكرانية You may also like نحوٌ من 200 دبلوماسي كندي سابق يطالبون بعقوبات... 16 مايو، 2026 France rejects plan to send its last two... 16 مايو، 2026 Macdonald Bridge to close Sunday morning for Bluenose... 16 مايو، 2026 Canadian isolating in B.C. tests “presumptive positive” for... 16 مايو، 2026 Canadian wineries say scrapping provincial trade barriers would... 16 مايو، 2026 Kirst’s six-point outing leads Rock past Thunderbirds in... 16 مايو، 2026 Carney, Smith reach energy agreement that could see... 15 مايو، 2026 Why the U.S. is noticing this Canadian security... 15 مايو، 2026 Supreme Court rules intimate partner violence can be... 15 مايو، 2026 Why a song contest has emerged as Europe’s... 15 مايو، 2026
