CANADAHALIFAX news Bargaining for Nova Scotia acute care nurses heading to conciliation by admin 29 يونيو، 2023 written by admin 29 يونيو، 2023 338 CITYnews halifax \ By Mark Hodgins The Nova Scotia Council of Nursing Unions says negotiations with the employer will be going to a conciliator after the two sides failed to reach a new deal. The coalition of four unions say talks ended early on Thursday after a total of 29 face-to-face meetings, according to the unions. “After a lengthy round of negotiations, delayed in part due to COVID 19 and adapting to a new style of interest-based bargaining, the parties representing nurses who work in hospitals, satellite clinics and public health throughout the province’s acute and community care sector came to an impasse,” the council said in a news release. The department of labour will now appoint a conciliator with the hopes of reaching a deal that’s acceptable for both sides. The unions are representing some 10,000 nurses who’ve been without a contract since 2020. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Province establishes Deaths-in-Custody Review Committee next post إيران تقاضي كندا أمام المحكمة الدولية على خلفية الطائرة الأوكرانية You may also like CITYnews halifax: Police call for information after man... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : N.S. invests in Cape Breton... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: RCMP take 24 unsafe vehicles off... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: UN ambassador Lametti: Canada pushing for... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Eustáquio nets winner, Canada advances to... 29 يونيو، 2026 CBC : Canada keeps historic World Cup run... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Israël, le Liban et les États-Unis annoncent... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Carney se justifie d’avoir évité de mentionner... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: L’Ontario n’augmentera pas le nombre limite de... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Why Europe can’t air condition its way... 28 يونيو، 2026
