An app has been launched to help Haligonians navigate through the construction of the new Cogswell District.

Halifax Regional Municipality says those who download it can get the latest information on detours and closures, along with advice on how to drive, cycle, walk, roll or take transit around the area.

There’s also the latest social media updates on the project, photos of the construction progress and profiles of businesses that are open in the area.

It’s free and available in the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). Just search for Cogswell District.
