Man arrested following robbery at Costco in Bayer’s Lake

Regional police have charged a man in connection to a robbery at Costco in Bayer’s Lake.

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the Costco where a man stole merchandise and threatened staff with a knife when fleeing the store.

He was arrested in the area a short time later.

Police say Tyler Matthew Mullen, 27, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Thursday to face charges of robbery, assault, uttering threats and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
