It doesn’t appear that Mother Nature is done with us just yet.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of mainland Nova Scotia and all of New Brunswick.

The national forecaster says a developing system is expected to bring snowfall on Tuesday and Tuesday night, likely impacting Holiday travel on Christmas Eve.

95.7 NewsRadio Weather Specialist Allister Aalders says most areas should see 5-10 cm of snow from this system, but he says there may be bands of snow associated with the storm that could bring more to some areas of HRM.

Forecasters say snowfall warnings will likely be issued later Monday for parts of the province since total accumulations are expected to exceed 15 cm, particularly in western Nova Scotia along the Bay of Fundy coastline.

Tuesday;s storm comes on the heels of a system on Friday that dumped between 20-25 cm of snow on HRM.
