Environment Canada issued a heat warning for the province set to last until Wednesday. The weather agency says humidex values are expected to reach between 34 and 39 on Tuesday, as very warm and humid weather moves in over the municipality and the province. This heat wave began on Monday. While cooler temperatures can be expected along the coast, the national weather agency says people should reduce their heat risk and stay indoors when possible. People, particularly children and pets, should never remain in parked vehicles during such heat events. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Youth charged in connection to bomb threat at Lockview High School next post More charges laid in 2022 murder of Digby County man You may also like Investigation into homicide of pregnant Halifax woman continues... 24 نوفمبر، 2024 First Canadian case of more severe mpox strain... 2024 Wind and rainfall warnings issued for parts of... 2024 New poll shows Houston’s PCs maintaining big lead... 22 نوفمبر، 2024
